Family date night

You can't go wrong with Chuck E Cheese, right?? Well, we sure didn't. We all (yes even us adults) all had a BLAST!! This was Sophie's 1st time and she just couldn't get enough.

And, what better way to close out the night than a great bubble bath for Sophie and snuggles with Dada.

Happy Happy Birthday husband dear,

So, again I am extremely apologetic to my husband for not posting this earlier. His birthday was actually on Monday. I am so grateful to have such a loving, wonderful husband. We had a wonderful year together and I pray that we will have lots and LOTS more. Jon has blessed my life in so many numerous ways, but I am most grateful that he is the father of my two BEAUTIFUL children and that we have now made our family an eternal family. Thank you Jon for choosing me as your wife and for making my life so AMAZING!!!

Jon and his birthday presents. Doesn't he look SUPER sexy in his new shirts. I was finally able to surprise him this year with his gifts. Undoubtedly, he ALWAYS figures out his gifts ahead of time, but not this year. YEAH for me!!!

I took Jon out to one of his favorite restaurants "Logans" for dinner which started out great. But unfortunately Sophie had other plans and decided to throw a "royal" hissyfit. So, we had to leave before Jon could even take a bite of his steak. Thank goodness for doggybags and microwaves.

La La Land... I mean Forks

So, I am sorry that I have not blogged anything recently but my mind has been trapped in "Forks" with Edward, Bella and Jacob. I just finished reading "Breaking Dawn" and Stephenie Meyer did it again. It was FANTASTIC!!!!!! I am so sad it's all over. Luckily, the wait won't be to long until "Twilight" the movie comes out. You can guarantee I will be there opening day.

What a GREAT Monday!!

We finally finished our "Mummy" marathon Monday morning since we were too tired to complete it the night before. We got done just in time that morning to leave and go see the new "Mummy" (thanks to our wonderful friends Amy, Joey and Jayson who watched Sophie). It was AWESOME!! I think the new one is by far the BEST "Mummy" yet.

Later that afternoon, thanks to my absolute fantastic, wonderful husband, Erin and I were able to go and have a little girl time one on one. (Thank you Jon, you are the BEST!!) So, ofcourse what did we do......well mani's and pedi's of course.

We also got our eyebrows waxed. Don't we look great and refreshed!!! Erin especially had a Great time because this was her first time having any of these things done.

To complete our wonderful Monday and have our last night together we spent our Family Home Evening playing Monopoly mania. Check this out.

You think regular Monopoly is crazy you definitely need to try playing double board monopoly. It was a BLAST!!!! Again, I laughed so hard I cried.

Like I said, unfortunately, all things must end, and this included Erin's trip. She flew home the next day. We are all looking forward to next summer when, hopefully, she can come down again.

Lots of family fun...

So, I am a LITTLE behind on posting. But hopefully I am going to get all caught up today. We had a blast having my cousin Erin here. It was so much fun just hanging out and being silly. Thanks Erin for making me laugh so hard that I fell over and cried!!!! :)

This last Sunday was super fun. After church, and of course our Sunday naps, we took a walk and went down to our playground. Sophie thought it was cool to play with her big cousin.

After we got back. Erin and I decided that we needed to have some relaxing time. You know because we had been working so hard the past couple of days... you know shopping, driving to stores, and than shopping again. So, we gave ourselves facials.

That was fun except I wanted to eat mine. It was made out of my favorite thing in the whole world.....chocolate. It smelled SOOOOOO good!!!!

Unfortunately, all things must come to an end, and we had to wash it off. Oh well, it was starting to harden and cracking so I guess that's just how the "facial" crumbles.

We had to set up for our late night movie marathon after that. We were going to see the new Mummy movie the next day so we decided we needed to watch the first two mummy movies in preparation for this. So, we turned our living room into a very comfortable movie theater.

Favorite Room

So, the first category was my favorite room in my house. Now this actually was a tie, so I will show you the first one I took a picture of.

I think the only reason that this is one of my favorite rooms is that for the first time in my adult life, I actually have towels that match my shower curtain. Oh, and one of my favorite pictures of Sophie is in the bathroom.

My Closet

Oh, I can't believe I just posted a picture of my closet for all to see. Don't you just love my plastic dresser.

Favorite Shoes

Yes, you were all correct. I live in my flip flops as you can see by how my white shoes are now verging on brown. But, I LOVE my $2.99 flops.

The Kitchen Sink

This I'm actually feeling ok with since I just cleaned up this morning. But, I do need to clean Sophie's tray for our next meal. (so, she can make a mess of it again.) Don't you just love the picture I made in art class when I was in like 5th grade. (how that has survived all the moves I have NOOOOO idea)

The Laundry Room

This is a work in progress, thanks to my husband. I've been waiting a month for him to rehang the shelf, but at least all the laundry is done. Thanks to me doing 5 loads yesterday.

Well, when I was taking the pictures my daughter was sleeping. (and their is no way I was going to open the door to take a picture. But now that I'm blogging this she is up running around and begging for "num-nums". That's my girl she LOVES to eat.

Aren't I pretty...NOT!!! Luckily, if you look further back in my blog, I have proven that I can look like a real human and not some ugly alien.

The Refrigerator

Our main item in the fridge.....drinks. We have water, fruit juice, crystal light, milk, dr. pepper and diet pepsi. At least we won't go thirsty.

My office/living room

No pun intended, but this is really where I live!! You can see my laptop which I really and truly could not live without it. (and Katie you should recognize that page...since it's your blog) I also have my t.v. (which thanks to my husband is now this ridiculously large flat screen t.v.----ARGH!!!)
